This large Warsaw’s care and education centre is divided into smaller groups. Each of them is independent and has its carers and children. We most often help the KGU Group. We entirely finance the summer camp in Ustronie Morskie.
As far as the younger group called “SUNNY TEAM”, we pay for the Aggression Replacement Training aimed at children who do not deal with difficult emotions.
In the case of another group called “DOMINO”, we will pay for the summer camp in Zakopane in August.
Photos will be attached after holidays. Alle the best to all of you!!!
Children, who use this facility, are children from problematic or low-income families, who are sometimes a little bit helpless. We proposed a cooperation involving payment for compensatory English classes because there is a huge need. Thanks to the classes in May and June, children, who had been at risk of not graduating, were promoted
Also, summer camps in Roztocze organised for 17 children by the “Polonia” travel agency were co-financed. Have a nice holiday!!!!
We supported the participation of the “La Basket” basketball girls’ team training at the Junior High School No. 144 in Warsaw in the U-16 Polish Championship. The team did not have enough funds to go to Tarnów. We provided funds for paying for accommodation, meals, and rent of a coach to Tarnów and back. Moreover, most importantly, the girls won the BROWN MEDAL!!!!! Bravo!!!!
In May and June, the football team of boys born in 2002/2003 received funding from the Foundation to:
– Buy club bags and backpacks – by JOMA;
– Rent a coach to travel to the league matches to Wyszków and Łochów;
– Travel to Ustronie Morskie in July this year to train and rest;
– Travel to Bydgoszcz in August for a football camp.
At this small family-type establishment, eight children, between 5 and 18 years old, are currently being raised. The carers endeavour to replace parents, and struggle with both educational and health problems of the children. They provide psychological, psychiatric, medical, and rehabilitation care because they need it. They try to meet the children’s living needs, fulfil their dreams at the level of a normal child at this age, so they do not lag behind in comparison to other children. They make attempts to raise the standard at home to make them feel comfortable and have their place. The house has already been renovated from outside. Only the exterior façade needs to be done. Therefore, we helped them by financing the purchase of wooden façade panels in May. The final effect will be seen in about 2-3 months, as everything will be arranged, mounted, and painted.
